What to Include in an Error or Bug Report
To help us investigate and resolve calculation or technical issues quickly, please provide as much context as possible:
- Tool Name and URL: Specify which tool you were using (for example,
/tools/percentage-calculator/). - Inputs and Outputs: The exact values you entered, the result displayed by the tool, and the result you expected to see.
- Official References: If reporting a discrepancy in tax slabs, legal rates, or measurement standards, please include a link to the relevant official government or institutional source.
- Device and Browser Details: For display or layout issues, let us know your device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), operating system, and browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, bank account details, government identity numbers (such as Emirates ID, Citizenship numbers, Social Security numbers, or Aadhaar), private financial records, or confidential corporate credentials. EasyTools will never ask for confidential personal information.
Response Expectations
We review incoming submissions regularly during normal operational hours. While we strive to review every inquiry promptly, please note:
- We do not operate an automated call center or 24/7 instant chat service.
- Submitting a feature request or bug report does not guarantee an immediate response or an immediate tool update.
- Inquiries reporting confirmed calculation errors or security vulnerabilities receive top maintenance priority.
Privacy Notice for Contact Submissions
We handle your contact messages with strict care:
- Data Collected: When you submit the form, we receive your name, email address, message body, and a WordPress security nonce token.
- How Data Is Handled: Submissions are processed by WordPress using server-side email transport (
wp_mail) to deliver an email to the site administrator. - No Database Storage: EasyTools does not store contact form submissions in a WordPress database table or public post type.
- Retention: Inquiries remain in administrative email storage to allow correspondence and follow-up. You may request the deletion of your correspondence at any time by messaging us.
